keema matar(minced meat and peas)

500 gms minced meat (keema)
1 and half cup peas
4 onions diced, 2 whole garlic pods, 1 small piece of ginger
3 whole red chillies,1 stick cinnamon,6-7 black pepper corn,
3 cloves,3 green cardammon,2 black cardammon and 1 tspn cumin seed
1tspn dry coriander seeds, 1and a quarter tspn salt
1 ladle full oil
1/4 cup water
green coriander to garnish


wash the meat and drain the water
grind the onion,garlic, ginger and all the spices together
heat the oil and add in the grinded masala
now saute for 5 mins and then add the keema(minced meat)
saute for 5 mins add the peas and pressure cook and 1/4 cup water
take 3 whistles on medium flame,as it cools down
open the cooker and reduce the remaining water
keep on high flame and keep stirring for 2-3 mins .
if you are cooking in a pan add 3/4 cup of water
cover with lid and cook on low flame for 7-8 mins
(check and add some more water if the meat is not tender)
garnish with green coriander leaves
