Ginger lamb ribs(adraki chaap)

Ingredients

8-10 lamb rib pieces
100 gms of grated ginger
1tspn salt
1 bay leaf
1 tspn black pepper powder
1/4 tspn turmeric
2 tblspn lemon juice
8-10 almonds
1 and half cup water
2 tblspn oil

Instructions

soak the almonds for an hour and then grind them
boil the lamb ribs for 15 mins on low flame( in a pan cover with lid)
add salt and turmeric while boiling(after 15 mins)
now take out the lamb ribs and keep the soup aside
marinade the lamb ribs in ginger, lemon juice and 1/2 tspn salt(leave it for 5-6 hrs or even overnight)
heat oil add bay leaf and the lamb ribs
now heat on low flame and keep stirring for 7-8 mins
add half tspn salt and black pepper add the soup and let it simmer
add the almond paste to the ribs and stir fry for 5 mins
sprinkle some lemon juice
relish with cilantro dip or mint dip or flavoured yoghurt
